Nesttr lists independent helpers for everyday tasks — errands, driving, moving, home organising, tech help for seniors, pet care, elder companionship, non-medical caretaking, hospital escorts, physiotherapy, counselling and platonic companionship for outings. Every helper completes identity and address verification before they can accept bookings, and every booking can be rated afterwards, so each helper builds a real track record.
Step by step
- Pick a service. Choose the category that matches your task. If a task spans two services — say, a driver plus someone to accompany a parent inside the hospital — book both.
- Enter your location and time. Helpers are shown for your city and the time you need.
- Compare profiles. Look at each helper's services, hourly rate, languages, experience and verification status. The rate you see is the rate you pay — there is no booking fee.
- Book and brief. Confirm the booking, then share clear instructions: address, what needs doing, and anything special such as limited mobility, a large dog or heavy items.
- Rate afterwards. An honest rating helps good helpers and helps other families choose.
Tips for a smooth booking
- Book only the hours you need; most services are priced per hour.
- For an elderly family member, try to be present or reachable by phone for the first visit.
- Keep valuables secured and never share bank PINs, UPI PINs or OTPs with anyone.
